Having been raised in Eastern Kentucky, Ryan Adams has dedicated his life to serving individuals in recovery. With a degree in Social Work from Morehead State University, he has spent over 9 years making a profound impact in the recovery community.
Throughout his career, he has held various roles, including Case Manager, Utilization Review Specialist, and Operations Manager, reinforcing his commitment to ensuring quality care and support for those in need. Now serving as an Executive Director, he continues to lead passionately, advocating for individuals in recovery and his professional peers.
Beyond his career, Ryan is deeply committed to his family, balancing his professional responsibilities with a steadfast dedication to those he loves. His work is more than a career; it’s a calling to uplift, support, and inspire lasting change in the lives of others.

Alicia is a dedicated clinical leader with 27 years of experience in the human service field, specializing in helping individuals on their journey to healing and recovery. As the Clinical Director for ARIA KY, she employs a client-centered approach, utilizing evidence-based methods such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, reality therapy and solution-focused therapy.
With a strong history of supervision and leadership, Alicia has extensive experience in team development, staff support, and training. She is committed to fostering professional growth, building cohesive teams, and creating an environment that empowers clients and colleagues.
Alicia holds a master’s in social work from the University of Kentucky and is passionate about driving meaningful changes in the lives of those she serves. A proud Kentucky native, she finds joy in nature, traveling and spending quality time with her family.

Dr. Fannin has served as Medical Director for this facility since its inception. His current certifications include Board Certification in Addiction & Family Medicine. He has been actively involved in the treatment of those afflicted with the disease of addiction since 2004. Bill states, “I feel truly blessed by the caring team I work with and the patients I’m honored to treat.” His co-workers describe him as insightful and educated, stating he is always willing to collaborate with others and is never too busy to answer a call. He values collaboration and is always willing to share his vast knowledge about the disease of addiction and human behavior.

BRITTANY MCINTYRE

As the Director of Admissions with over 6 years of experience in human services, Brittany plays a pivotal role in guiding individuals and their families through the first steps of treatment, ensuring they receive the support, compassion, and care they deserve. She works to ensure that individuals seeking services receive immediate assistance with all their needs and provides the best possible assistance to referral sources as they navigate the ins and outs of justice-involved individuals. With an undergraduate degree in community support services, a master’s degree in public administration, and a deep understanding of the complexities of substance abuse, Brittany can assess the needs of each client while also identifying risk factors before admission that may need to be addressed.
Brittany is a dedicated advocate for mental health, ensuring that every person who walks through our door feels heard, seen, supported, and ready to begin their path to recovery.
Outside of work, she enjoys thrift stores, concerts and festivals, a true crime podcast, football, spending time with family and friends, and her two schnauzers, Dexter and Griffey.

Freda Richmond is a dedicated professional with over 15 years’ experience in the financial industry, where she has successfully navigated roles from customer service to management. In 2023, she made a significant career shift to the substance abuse treatment industry, starting as an HR Assistant and soon after moving to Finance Assistant. Freda became the HR Director and later expanded her role to include finance, demonstrating her adaptability and leadership skills.
Freda is passionate about helping others and finds fulfillment in witnessing the growth and development of individuals at all organizational levels. Her commitment to creating a supportive and empowering work environment drives her success in both HR and finance.
Outside of work, Freda enjoys spending her free time with her family on their farm, where she has a special fondness for cows. This connection to her rural lifestyle enriches her perspective and reinforces her commitment to nurturing growth in her professional and personal life.

Brittany Thornberry is an advanced practice registered nurse for ARIA-KY. She has been working in residential treatment for substance use for over three years. Before coming to ARIA-Kentucky, she worked for the Kentucky Department of Corrections system. She has always desired to work in the medical field, serving the underserved.
Nurses play a vital role in creating a supportive and healing environment for clients, and Brittany is one of the best. When asked about the care they’ve received during their treatment, clients always note that Brittany empowers them to make their own medical decisions, provides them with a sense of safety and support, and is compassionate and understanding. Individuals who feel empowered are more likely to make long-lasting health changes.
Brittany finds herself constantly inspired by ARIA’s mission to help change the lives of people struggling with either substance use disorder or their mental health.

Before joining ARIA Kentucky, Chris Hall was a civil and criminal attorney for a private firm and the Department of Public Advocacy. Throughout his career, Chris found that many of the clients he served required legal assistance because of issues stemming from their addiction. Now he works as General Counsel, cooperating with other team members to ensure that ARIA meets all the legal requirements necessary for its operations while providing the best services possible to its clients.
Chris is a lifelong Kentucky native who has received degrees from Morehead State University and the University of Louisville.

Noah Baten is the Director of Revenue at ARIAKY, overseeing financial operations to ensure resources align with the organization’s mission of sustainable growth. With over a decade of experience in the substance use disorder (SUD) field, he brings deep industry expertise to navigating financial complexities. Noah earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a specialization in Management from the University of Pikeville in 2005, where he also played college baseball. His strong financial acumen and strategic leadership help maximize efficiency and accountability to benefit clients and the broader community. Noah loves Shih Tzus and enjoys long walks on the beach and spending time with his dogs, Apple and Peach.
He received his CNA and nursing certification in 2020 from an accredited nursing school, ANHO (Academy for Nursing and Health Occupation) along with Phlebotomy, management, and delegation clearance. He also is a BACB (Behavior Analyst certification Board) member as a RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) since 2018, working with children and adults on the autistic spectrum.
When he is not providing services to his patient/clients, he is probably somewhere searching for his next food experience because considers himself a food critic and loves a new dining experience. He also loves sports, and fitness.

Mollie has dedicated her career to supporting individuals on their journey to recovery, helping them build healthier thought patterns, behaviors, and coping strategies for lasting change. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, reality therapy, and solution-focused therapy, in addition to being a trained practitioner of EMDR therapy, always taking a client-centered approach that meets individuals where they are. With 12 years of experience in substance use treatment, she serves as the Assistant Clinical Director at Aria KY and the Clinical Services Supervisor for the Transitions program. A graduate of the University of Kentucky with a master’s in social work, she is also an active participant in the local recovery community. She is passionate about creating a supportive environment where both clients and staff can thrive.

I have a personal understanding of substance abuse, having navigated its challenges firsthand, which has profoundly influenced my passion for helping others who face similar struggles. My experience with addiction has fostered a strong empathy for individuals in recovery. I hold degrees from Georgetown College and Morehead State University, where I specialized in education and leadership. As a Compliance Officer, I ensure that programs and policies adhere to regulatory standards, enhancing the effectiveness of recovery services while safeguarding clients’ well-being. My background allows me to connect with clients personally while providing the professional support necessary to achieve their goals. Outside of my professional life, I’m a wife and a mom. I am also an avid naturalist with a deep love for plants, often spending time exploring nature and attending music festivals.

Having experienced firsthand the challenges of addiction and the journey to restoration, Tayler now plays a vital role in guiding individuals toward stability and success.
In his role, Tayler facilitates access to gainful employment, stable housing, and the direction needed to become productive members of society. His passion lies in empowering others to reclaim their lives, just as he has, by providing the tools and support necessary for long-term success. Taylor’s journey from client to leader is a powerful reminder that recovery is possible, and he is committed to helping others take that next step toward a brighter future.

In this role, he works diligently to build and maintain key community partnerships while securing funding opportunities to support the organization’s mission. Ian North has a proven track record of successfully managing grant applications, cultivating relationships with community partners and driving initiatives that enhance access to addiction recovery resources. Passionate about creating positive change, Ian North is dedicated to supporting individuals and families impacted by addiction through strategic outreach and targeted funding efforts.

As a longtime Certified Peer Support Specialist, Ashley builds strong client connections, offering support, encouragement, and practical insight. When she’s not making a difference in the recovery community, she enjoys concerts, quality time with family and friends and being a proud dog mom.
